Well, lots has happened since my last blog post! Most importantly, I have a new job!! Before those of you back in the US get too excited...it's still in Swansea. It all happened quite quickly really, but I'm excited about it.
On 30th April, I started a job working with foster carers. I'm still doing social work and still working with the same place as I was before, but my actual day-to-day activities are very different. This job is only a 6 month contract, so I have no idea what will happen after that, but I'm excited about learning some new things and getting this experience.
I've got loads of fun things planned for the summer (although I'm not sure if you can really call it that here...), some of which have already happened, and more of which I am so so excited about!
A couple weekends back, I got to go to London and see the Maddox family for a bit. I used to babysit for Anna Carlton and Will about 6ish years ago. It was so fun to see them and show them around London!
Last weekend I went to visit my friend Lorna and we celebrated the Diamond Jubilee. We also went to Winston Churchill's house, which was pretty cool. Did I mention I had a 6 day weekend? Love this place. We also created a perfect world called Amerengland. It's a pretty great place because it has all the good things about England AND all the good things about the US combined. Like Chick-fil-a and trains and four seasons and a Queen. Perfect? We think so.
I also recently got to go to a Mumford & Sons concert. Finally. Definitely one of the best I've ever been to and I would love to see them again. It was amazing. And I got to go with these fun people-
Coming up, I'm taking a quick trip to Switzerland with my friend Andie who is coming to visit from Tennessee, then a possible trip to Barcelona with Lorna. And then....it's time for the Olympics!! Kelly and I finally got tickets for an Olympic event- diving I think- and we are more than excited. So excited in fact, that Kelly is buying us some USA gear on her trip back to the states so we can be properly patriotic in July! I can't wait.
Then, in August, it's time for another Green Man festival!! I love summer!
I've also been working on making a little something for all the babies coming this autumn and winter. I'm pretty excited about that too.
Sorry for all the Instagram photos...it's all I've got.

Just wanted you to know I'm reading, and I hope to hear more about the new job/what you'll learn! Happy for you, sister.
