Scandinavia...

A couple weeks back my roommate, Kelly, and I decided we were ready for another holiday.  So, we started thinking about where we wanted to go and somehow came to the conclusion that we would go to Stockholm, Sweden.  After looking into it for a bit, we realised Copenhagen was only a mere 5 hour train ride away, so we figured why not just go to both places?  I'm sooo glad we did!

Kelly and I trekked over to London on a Tuesday after work, spent the night by the airport, and woke up bright and early to catch a flight to Stockholm.  The weather was amazing while we were there, with the sun shining the whole time.

Stockholm was a really interesting city made up of 5 islands all connected by bridges.  I think it's going on my top 5 favourite cities.  While we were there, we had the opportunity to see all kinds of cool stuff and learn all kinds of interesting information.

We even went to the IceBar...that's right...a bar made entirely of ice...including the glasses.  Probably the  funniest part of our trip...loved it.  And as an added bonus, you get to wear these awesome cloaks/gloves which were nice and warm.

After two days in Stockholm, we were off to Copenhagen.  Five hours on the train later and we had arrived.  Again, Copenhagen was a really neat city, despite not being as sunny as Stockholm.

Carlsberg Brewery (not as cool as the Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam)

We found some ropes to play on!

This was a great trip!  Thanks for coming with me Kelly!
