This last month and a bit has been so very busy. It started with my friend Nia's hen do (aka bachelorette party). Nia, her two sisters, myself, and a few other girls went to Bluestone, where we basically watched Christmas films, ate a lot of food, went to the spa, and made an attempt at completing a treasure hunt in Christmas fancy dress.

We may or may not have gone the wrong way at some point, which means we went in a really long circle on a very muddy trail in the middle of the woods.
Needless to say, by the end of our adventure, I think only me and Nia's sisters were still excited about winning the treasure.
Mud. Had I known, maybe I would have worn better shoes...
But we did it!!!!
Nia, Natalie, and I were the last ones left after our weekend adventure and made a nice pitstop on the way home for breakfast in Tenby.
Next was Thanksgiving. This year, my dear coworkers put up with participating in another meal in which they had to make a random traditional dish and bring it in to share. They complained about it, but I think deep down they really love it. Then, on actual Thanksgiving, some other American friends, Andrew and Margaret, invited me and lots of others to celebrate at their house. For most people there, it was their first time to experience Thanksgiving, and it was such a fun thing to be a part of. Thanks for hosting Goodmans!
We made them sing before we ate.
The day after Thanksgiving, my roommate Kelly and I headed to Bath for the weekend to do some Christmas shopping at the markets and go to the spa. It was amazing and I don't think either of us had ever been so relaxed. But I only have one picture from the weekend. Oops.
We got back from Bath and went to find the perfect Christmas tree. Isn't she great?
Which brings us to this weekend. Friday was our work Christmas party. We had Christmas dinner at the Marriott hotel in Swansea where we also enjoyed some pretty great dancing.
And Saturday was Nia and Dan's big day, and my first Welsh wedding experience. It was a beautiful ceremony and reception and I was so happy to get to be a part of their celebration.
Yay! Love it! And doesn't she look beautiful?
As you can see, it's been pretty full of celebrations around here, and with Christmas just around the corner and my mom visiting soon, I'm so excited about the next few weeks to come! Merry Christmas everyone!
