1. It's the first time I haven't had a shift in what I was doing approximately mid-May
2. It doesn't feel or look like summer here. Little heat, little humidity, lots of raining. Weird.
3. School just got out for the summer last week. Poor kids.
But, although it's a little different here season to season, it's still good. And I learn to appreciate things more, and learn to love new things.
Here's a couple pictures of the past few weeks...
Kelly hurt her foot. We went to A&E (or the ER for you US folks). There was blood on the floor. It's really far from the waiting room to the xray room. They don't have wheel chairs.
I got invited to sit in the City & County box at the Swans football game. I had probably the most awkward dinner of my life, but sat next to the Lord Mayor of Swansea. Good times.
This video was after the big win. We were happy!
Some friends from work at Pwll Du beach after work. Great night. It's good to remember that there are such beautiful places close by, and having good people to enjoy those places with is an extra bonus.
We may or may not have eaten beef, sausage, venison, and goat all in this meal. Delicious.

I'm leaving Saturday morning for the US. I'll spend a week in Memphis, some time at a cabin in the mountains with some of my favourite people, and then some much-needed time with Knoxville family and friends. I can't wait.
And then, Green Man!!
