We learned something new this week. In Wales (and I guess all of the United Kingdom?), people like to dress up in costumes. And not just for Halloween. I think any occasion will do. But they don't call it a costume party or really anything having to do with a costume. Instead, they call it 'fancy dress'. So, when someone invites you out and says that fancy dress is required, clearly that means you should dress up as some character or animal or whatever it is that you like, right? Well, we had no idea. But, we figured it out soon enough and here's some pictures to prove it. These were all taken at the "Goodbye CAFT North team/Welcome Americans" work party.

Last weekend, a couple of us rented a car and drove to IKEA in Cardiff to buy stuff for our houses. We got a lot of stuff and then we came back to Swansea, picked up a couple more people, and headed for the Gower Peninsula, which was absolutely beautiful.

And then Andrew and Margaret made dinner for all of us. And it was good.
