I flew into Cardiff which is about an hour away from Swansea. I waited there for a bit until Cherie (one of the girls who will be working with me) arrived. We were going to take the train into Swansea, but because we had so much stuff...

The last few days have seemed super busy, but it turns out we haven't done too much. Our first attempts at finding a place to live have been discouraging, but there is a possibility brewing now, and hopefully everything will work out well. Tomorrow we meet up for coffee with our managers, mentors, and our HR representative, and Monday is our first day (well, maybe not mine, but that's a different story). I'm excited to get settled into a house and a job soon. The next few weeks are going to be crazy...

Praying that you and your roomies find a flat soon. Your pictures are lovely! What's that about a "different story?" Makes me wonder. You are very brave to venture to another land and I know it's quite stressful at first, but before long all the details will be worked out.
