Around this time last year, I wrote this post about how much I missed fall-like things.  Well, it's still true, but doesn't seem quite as bad this year, or maybe I've just been too busy to notice.  Hmm...

I still love autumn, and I really really wish I could drive down the road to a pumpkin patch somewhere and cuddle up around a bonfire sipping on a pumpkin-spice latte.

Instead of those things, I'm going to Budapest tomorrow, which is a pretty good consolation prize if you ask me.  I'm meeting a friend from Memphis and her family there, and I am pretty excited.

Don't worry, I'm not letting the fall pass me by with no pumpkin.  I made these delicious pumpkin muffins from the SavvyEat blog with just a couple of tweaks.  They were delicious!
