Green Man

After leaving the USA, I arrived in London about 7:30am on Friday morning and promptly jumped on the train to head back to Swansea...well, it actually took a while to hop on the train, but you get the idea.  I arrived back in Swansea about 2:30 or so, went home, took a quick shower, repacked a bag, and headed back to the train station to head to Green Man Festival.  So after a plane, a train, a taxi, another taxi, another train, and a bus, I arrived at the festival about 7:30.  I was TIRED.  But, I knew it would be worth it.

I don't remember much about the first night honestly, but I do remember seeing Bellowhead, and they were amazing.

The rest of the weekend was full of good people, great food (they had Mexican and falafal and chai tea, how great is that?), and really great music.  I was especially excited about seeing Fleet FoxesAvett Brothers, and Laura Marling, but there was tons of other great music as well.

The weather was the best we possibly could have hoped for, and after hearing loads of horror stories about wet years in the past, we were definitely relieved.  And the location for Green Man was absolutely beautiful!  It was in Wales, in a National Park type area called the Brecon Beacons.  It was a great spot for some good music.

Camping!
