In less than 48 hours I will be on a plane and on my way to Wales. Crazy? Yes. Scary? Yes. Exciting? Very much so. It feels good that the time is finally here. I feel like I have spent a lot of time waiting...and waiting...and waiting. But now it's time to go.
I have already said goodbye to my Memphis family, and am slowly saying goodbye to people here in Knoxville. I've had moments of being really sad that I'm leaving behind all these people I love, and moments of being so excited to get to go meet new people that I will grow to love. I got to spend some time in the mountains, a couple of days at the lake, and the last two weeks of my time in Memphis with friends that teach me more and more everyday what it means to love and serve well. I'm gonna miss those people.
I keep asking myself if this is really happening, am I really moving across the world? I am. And I know it will be so good.
Right now, it looks like I will be living with two other girls (which will put my roommate count to 19 and 20, for those who are counting :) ), and we will start looking for apartments as soon as we get there. There's a ton of other things to do when we arrive, but I will try to update here as much as I can with pictures and stories. I look forward to sharing the adventure with you.
